COAG-Jaén continues to work to learn about and raise awareness of the agrotourism sector and thus be able to better help rural entrepreneurs in this sector, especially those farmers and livestock breeders who decide to opt for this form of multifunctional agriculture as a complement to agricultural income.
Juan Carlos Muñoz Flores participated as a speaker at the round table ‘Flavours of the territory: agrotourism and local products as a driving force for mountain villages’, which was held on June 19th, 2025 in Orcera (Jaén), as part of the conference ‘“Rural in movement: meetings for a living territory’” organised by esMontañas as part of the programme of activities to celebrate the capitalship of the mountains 2025 that Orcera and La Iruela, two villages in the province of Jaén, are holding.
The round table was attended by representatives of the academic, business, associative, and institutional fields from all over Spain, who held a very interesting debate about agrotourism, its evolution and its role as a dynamizer of the rural territory, which you can review in the following link: youtube.com/watch?v=TECzIFWUkxY.
In addition, our colleague presented the promotional videos of the FORMAGRIT and STAY projects, both aimed at training for entrepreneurs in agrotourism.
