The Chair of Inland Tourism of the University of Jaén, with the support of the Andalusian Regional Government’s, organised in Jaén the III International Congress on Inland Tourism in Andalusia, on April 29th and 30th, 2025
Our partner on project STAY, Juan Carlos Muñoz Flores, European Programmes Technician at COAG-Jaén, was a speaker at the round table entitled ‘What development model do we want for inland tourism in Andalusia?
The event provided an important opportunity for an in-depth discussion on the role of agrotourism in the development of rural areas, as well as for the exchange of ideas among experts, policymakers, and representatives of various organizations. Special attention was given to showcasing successful practices emerging from European initiatives. COAG-Jaén took this opportunity to present its involvement in three key Erasmus+ projects – FORMAGRIT, STAY, and AgriNext – which focus on connecting agriculture, education, and tourism. The attendants also had the chance to watch the promotional videos of the FORMAGRIT and STAY projects, offering a visual insight into the goals, content, and impact of both initiatives on local communities”.
